Been talking a lot about mindset.
Because whether you're new or have been here for a while, a quick search on my YouTube channel will show you a vast amount of solutions for any problem with your nutrition/fitness you're having.
We have this illusion as humans of getting to this dream end-point of us shredded, on a beach working minimally, no worries in the world, solid marriage and relationships, great life, sipping pina coladas...all with doing minimal work.
The end result of anything is such an illusion.
Because even if we did hit the end result, we'd just want a new one and set the bar higher.
So how do we get this picture of "inner-peace?"
Lose the notion that you won't have to work for it every single day AND that being at a result will give you any inner peace.
How many rich people do you know that live an extremely poor life?
I would say about 90% of the wealthy I know are pretty miserable. And if you took the money away, what's exposed is the saddest life ever.
Inner peace isn't an end result. It's not achieved.
It's deserved. Every minute. Every day.
Have to put in the work.
And the work will always be there.
Research shows people whose self-worth is on their physique are a lot less likely to achieve their physique.
Why is this?
They focus on the end result.
TO OBTAIN THIS INNER PEACE, MOVE THE GOALS TO THE DISCIPLINE, HABITS, AND BEHAVIORS THAT YOU EXECUTE EVERY DAY.
Take your morning supps?
WIN.
Hit your macros for the day?
WIN.
Lost 5 pounds?
DOESN'T MATTER.
Show me someone's habits and I'll show you their physique, bank account, and relationship.
It's all a byproduct.
We all start because we want a certain end result.
But focusing on that will cause failure.
And unhappiness.
The process is the goal.
Not the result.
